Don Giovanni tells the story of the infamous nobleman Don Giovanni, a charismatic seducer who lives without remorse or respect for others. Accompanied by his loyal servant Leporello, he pursues countless romantic conquests, leaving betrayal, heartbreak, and revenge in his wake.
After attempting to seduce Donna Anna, Don Giovanni kills her father, the Commendatore, in a duel. Unrepentant, he continues his reckless pursuit of pleasure, deceiving Donna Elvira, who still hopes he will change, and trying to win the young bride Zerlina on her wedding day.
As those he has wronged unite against him, Don Giovanni refuses every opportunity to repent. During a lavish banquet, the stone statue of the slain Commendatore appears, demanding that he face the consequences of his actions. Even in the face of death, Don Giovanni remains defiant. The statue drags him into hell, bringing a dramatic end to his life of excess and deceit.
