Carmen - Georges Bizet

Set in vibrant Seville, Carmen follows the story of a fiercely independent young woman whose passion for freedom changes the lives of everyone around her.

Carmen captures the heart of Don José, a disciplined soldier who abandons his career and fiancée to be with her. As his love turns into obsession, Carmen grows restless and falls for the charismatic bullfighter Escamillo.

Unable to accept that Carmen no longer loves him, Don José desperately begs her to return. She refuses, choosing freedom over submission. Outside the bullring, consumed by jealousy and despair, Don José fatally stabs Carmen. Realizing the horror of his actions, he surrenders himself to the authorities.
